Thev map says 7.2km but you can take a short cut across the vines above the church to reduce to 6.7km.

Detailed instructions:

1. Park at the Salle des Fêtes in Champagnac (17500) just off the D142.

2. Turn left onto the D142 and go uphill until you reach the first row of vines on the right.

3. Turn right into the vines and admire the view of the church and cottages.

4. When you reach a track going downhill, turn right and descend to the cottages.

5. When you reach the cottages turn left and then immediately right.

6. When you reach another small road, turn left.  This is the road with the church in it but we will go away from the church.

7. Continue along this road for a long way until you reach a small cross roads where straight on the route curves and rises. However we turn right onto a small track that is no entry sauf riverains.

8. Shortly we turn left where a Randonnée and ACCA parking is marked.

9. We go uphill for a short distance until we reach the top, looking back to admire the view.

10. Turn right when the vines on the right change orientation and there is a gap between the vines.

11. Continue for quite a way until we get a second chance to turn onto a track to the right going downhill.

12. Go right down that track until we reach the main track and a T junction at the bottom.

13. Turn right along the main track and then turn first left.

14. Continue down this track all the way past Grignac until we reach the main road the D142.

15. Turn Right onto the D142 and then take the first small track on the left called “Aux Tonnelles”.

16. Continue along this track towards the River Seugne and then follow it round to the right.

17. Continue along the track. Through an S bend and eventually right again which will lead you up to the sports pitches and school and finally another right turn which takes you back to the Salle des Fêtes.
