Nieul-le-Virouil 6.3km on road ramble

6.3km Ramble - lightly undulating.  

Completely on tarmac roads so good in winter or rainy parts of the year.

Some shade in a small part of the walk.

Points of interest - The square by the church and the hamlet of Goribon.

Start point - Parking by the Eglise Saint Séverin 17150 Nieuil-le-Virouil a short distance off the D699.

Floirac and Mageloup 6.3km Ramble with Estuary Views

Photos taken from our walk in September 6.3km Ramble - undulating with a couple of moderate climbs up and down. Highly recommended walk. A good mix of off road on grassy tracks and linking small tarmac roads.   No shade. Points of interest - The church and cemetry in Floirac.  Wonderful estuary views and views over the surrounding countryside. Start point - Parking above the Mairie and near the church in the centre of Floirac. Photos from the same ramble in May. Courpignac 5.9km Ramble through the forest

Pictures from our walk through Courpignac in March 2024. 5.9  km Ramble - Undulating but nothing very steep. Partly on forest tracks and the rest on small tarmac roads.   Some shade in the forest sections. Points of interest - The church, the forest and ponds and La Dionne.
