Sainte-Ramée 6.5km Ramble through farmland

Photos taken on our early October Ramble.

 6.5km Ramble - Undulating route but nothing very steep. We did it clockwise.

Largely off road with some linking sections on small tarmac roads.

A little shade at some points but largely open.

Points of interest - Farmland and views.

Start point - Parking by the Mairie in Sainte-Ramée just off the D145E6.

  Photos of this ramble in October 2024 Photos from our September 2023 ramble in Rouffignac. 7km - undulating but nothing very steep.  The walk can be quite tough due to the uneven grassy paths in places.  Follows the GRP de Saintonge for about half its length Mixed surfaces but mainly off road on grassy tracks and paths through the forest. Floirac and Mageloup 6.3km Ramble with Estuary Views

Photos taken from our walk in September 6.3km Ramble - undulating with a couple of moderate climbs up and down. Highly recommended walk. A good mix of off road on grassy tracks and linking small tarmac roads.   No shade. Points of interest - The church and cemetry in Floirac.  Wonderful estuary views and views over the surrounding countryside. Start point - Parking above the Mairie and near the church in the centre of Floirac. Photos from the same ramble in May. Courpignac 5.9km Ramble through the forest

Pictures from our walk through Courpignac in March 2024. 5.9  km Ramble - Undulating but nothing very steep. Partly on forest tracks and the rest on small tarmac roads.   Some shade in the forest sections. Points of interest - The church, the forest and ponds and La Dionne.
